iMCQs (Casebook of Primary Care)
Another iMCQs app with my version 2 interface.
The pictures and most of the questions in this iMCQs app are taken from or based on the excellent books - Atlas Casebook of Primary Care and Quick Reference Atlas of Dermatology by Dr Ian Williams and Dr Vivienne Owen Ankrett both General Practitioners (GPs) in the UK.
They are three times winners of the Royal College of General Practitioners Ian Stokoe Memorial Award and have been writing, publishing and supplying illustrations for the medical press for 20 years. Creators of the Medical Slide Library their images and slides are found in books on many doctors and medical student shelves.
There are 200 MCQs based on a wide range of slides covering numerous disease areas. The questions are suitable for medical students, junior doctors and GPs wanting to do some work for appraisal. The questions have a primary care focus but cover a wide range of classic topics and are suitable for finals, exams such as PLAB, MRCGP and USMLE. We plan to add to this questions in the next few months.
Version 2 of the iMCQs interface remembers which question you are on and which you have answered previously. If you get one wrong it will by default tell you the right answer with some explanation and will randomly ask you the question again. You can elect to have hints instead.

The questions are written in good faith as an educational tool and shouldn't be relied on for treatment decisions but used as an self assessment tool to understand your learning needs.
